Hawa Mahal
As told earlier, Hawa Mahal is one of the most awesome and royal attractions of Jaipur. It was built by King Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. This is 5 storied and a semi-octagonal monument fitted with 152 windows and beautified with hanging latticed balconies. The monument was basically built for the royal ladies to facilitate their watch of processions and other events down the streets from one of the balconies of the monuments.

Jantar Mantar
Jantar Mantar is an observatory built by the King Sawai Jai Singh II in 18th century. It was used to study the constellations. The huge sized sun dial still shows accurate time, a subject matter of regular update and corrections of time.

Jal Mahal
The tourists can find the Jal Mahal or Water Palace on their way to Amer. The palace is situated on the bank of Man Sagar Lake. You need to follow a paved walkway, leading you to the cute water palace.

Jaigarh Fort
This beautiful fort resting on a hilltop was built by the King Sawai Jai Singh during his governance. The tourist can have bird’s eye view of Amer from here. They can also see the world’s biggest cannon on wheels; Jai Ban built by the king Jai Singh itself.

Amer was once the capital of Kachhwahas. The fort is positioned on rocky hills. The fort is loaded with the royal grandeur of its surroundings and the strong fortifications and fine-looking palaces. The fort represents fine blend of both Hindu and Muslim style of architecture. The King Man Singh initiated building the original palace and later, additional extensions were constructed by King Mirja Raja Jai Singh and Sawai Jai Singh II.
